~ Augustya Rai Singhaniya ~
A business tycoon who will achieve his goals by Hook or by Crook. A man who only hates lies and only sin is a lie.
He sat back in his leather armchair, a stack of files on his lap. These files had been carefully acquired by his right hand, a trusted and loyal lieutenant Ayush Roy who knew the importance of obtaining the right information. As he flipped through the pages, a wicked smile played at the corners of his lips.
He took his mug of black coffee from the table and thought while sipping his coffee, how does a person become ready to spend their whole life with a person without knowing them? Just because of goddam money???
The door opens with a sound of click and three beautiful ladies dressed in traditional dress screaming elegance ,Pallavi Rai Singhaniya , Kavita Rai Singhaniya and Singhaniya's younger Jem a bubbly girl Siya Rai Singhaniya enter inside the room and spot tall and handsome guy wearing a combination of Red and golden coloured sherwani.
He is creating an enchanting aura around himself , gazing out from a big glass window on the balcony of his luxurious room. He is the groom, most charming and bachelor of India,Who is now going to be married and breaking millions of girls hearts in a few sec.
Kavita Rai Singhaniya said, "I just wanted to see my grandson's marriage, and by the grace of God I am seeing it today, applying tilak on his forehead she said may this alliance bring abundance and prosperity in your life".
Caressing his face Pallavi Rai Singhaniya said, "you are looking very handsome today, May no gaze of evil eyes fall on you".
Siya Rai Singhaniya said mischievously" uff yaar I'm so excited to meet my bhabhi and bhaiya how many hearts are you going to break today? Damm she is so lucky......
Then everyone comes into the hall where grandpa, dad, Shivae and Ayush are sitting. Agastya kneels before his grandfather and father seek their blessings. The elders offer their words of wisdom and love, while the atmosphere is filled with respect and anticipation.
Dada ji said "This alliance has been arranged hastily for business, but we want you to fulfill it with all your heart and give the daughter-in-law all her rights and respect".
Later everyone gets into the car and leaves for the venue. The wedding hall was very well decorated where only a few close family members and business partners were present.
The beauty of a pavilion is truly captivating. Its graceful architecture and elegant design make it a sight to behold. The pavilion stands proudly, surrounded by lush greenery, creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere. The play of light and shadows through its open windows and ornate pillars adds to its charm. It is a place where one can find solace, inspiration, and a sense of tranquility.
The air thrummed with the heartbeat of the dhol, its primal rhythm shaking the ground as if the earth itself was celebrating. Agastya sat atop, his sherwan catching the late afternoon sun. His brothers and uncles danced around him, their steps wild and joyous, swirling in clouds of rose petals and laughter.
At the gate of the wedding mandap, the bride's family waited. Rashi held a silver thali with a flickering diya, circled it before the Agastya face (aarti, the ritual of warding off evil).
Inside the mandap, strings of marigolds hung like liquid gold. The scent of tuberoses and sandalwood paste thickened the air.
He'd never seen his bride. Didn't care. This was a merger-Riya [Real Bride's Name], daughter of the rival Sharma Industries, in exchange for a benefit of the company.
But when the doors opened-The woman who walked toward him was smaller than he expected. Her Red lace veil did nothing to hide the way her hands trembled.
Sana [Replace Bride's ] stepped forward, her lehenga a cascade of red and gold, the weight of her red chooda (ivory bangles) clinking with every movement. She was a flame, radiant and untouchable.
And his breath hitched just to have a little glimpse of her. She was softer. Her hands trembled as she raised the garland. Her eyes-hold the mystery, she rose on her toes to loop the garland over his neck. Her small hands trembled as he placed his own, the flowers crushing between them, releasing a burst of fragrance.
Her parents' hands shook as they placed hers in his for kanyadan. Sidharth's voice cracked as he said,"She is our greatest blessing, Now she is yours to cherish."
The priest tied the pallu of her duppata to the groom's shawl symbolic knot of two souls. A coconut was placed in their joined palms, its hard shell a reminder: marriage required resilience.
